OUR MINISTRIES - Here are a few of the ministry opportunities available at Legacy.

Prayer

We believe in prayer. We believe that God has a general will and a specific will, for our lives. Our main concern, when we pray, is that God's will be done in each situation. We have times of corporate prayer and encourage our church family to seek a very powerfull personal prayer life

Elders / Deacons

We prescribe to the dictates of scripture in choosing those who will assist in leading the church. Acts 6:3 and 1 Timothy 3:8-13 tell us how to determine the qualifications for this responsibility.

Ministry to Pakistan

We have connected with Pastor Haroon Massey, of Pakistan  We sent a requested Study Bible, in English, to Brother Haroon, along with gifts for his wife and daughter. After nearly a month of shipping time, Pastor Massey has received our gifts. (see giving opportunities page)

Ministry to India

We have connected with Pastor Philip Ravi Kumar Sadamalla, of India. Our desire is to partner with him, in ministry, and supply his ministry with things he may find difficult to aquire locally. (see giving opportunities page)

Youth

Our youth are fully involved in all aspects of ministry. They are not the church of the future, but rather the church of today. They participate in all ministry activities and have extra, age-specific, time together for activities that are specifically tailored to meet their needs.

Music

We believe music to be an itegral part of the worship experience. We avoid the argument over traditional worship versus contemporary worship by allowing those with gifting in music and singing to lead the corporate worship as the holy spirit leads them, whether through traditional hymns, contemporary songs, or praise and worship that they have written.

Community service

Legacy's mission is to desciple it's members. Through this descipleship, we are taught to share the good news of Jesus Christ, thus descipling others and making an impact in our communities. We desire to leave our fingerprints on the community through projects that show the love of Christ to those around us. This also includes long-term and short-term mission trips.
